Mortal Kombat 11 confirmed to have microtransactions

  • 1891

Oh no!  Mortal Kombat 11 has been confirmed to include microtransactions.  The in game currency will be called Time Crystals and those can be used in the store to buy things like character skins, emotes, gear, and easy fatalities.

BUT and this is a big "but", nothing in the store you can buy will give you an advantage in fights.  So another historic franchise has joined the microtransaction trend and only time will tell how players will react to this one.

The good news is that NetherRealm has committed to a ‘no loot box’ policy on Mortal Kombat, so any additional moves or skills post launch will be added free.

Mortal Kombat 11 launches April 23.

so if someone has different color dress on their character, just because they spent some extra money to support the devs, you will hate the game? thats some f-ed up logics there... NR really hit the golden spot with this only skin microtransactions here, and there are already some poor people who won't even play the game complaining.

I do not know, it's waiting to see the reaction of the gamers, I'm not much fan of MK but I have friends who love the franchise.
