The first Warcraft Game "Orcs & Humans" was released on November 23, 1994 – almost 25 years ago! At the time, no one expected that it will turn into one of the biggest gaming franchises in the world. Not only it spawned two RTS sequels, but also the most popular MMORPG in the history (World of Warcraft) as well as the most popular digital card game (Hearthstone).
In celebration of the 25th anniversary, anyone who logs in before November 27th will receive two Golden Rare cards for free: Injured Blademaster and Argent Commander.
Why those? Because, according to the official blog post, it’s “inspired by the epic struggle between Horde and Alliance”.
