Microphone Heeeelp!

  • 1

I always have problems with my mic's...  I have 3 different mics and three different connectors for them.  I have Standard 3.5mm, USB mic, and a USB to 3.5mm ROCCAT Juke converter.  Discord always has problems detecting them.  I'm considering getting a wireless blutooth headset but I just dunno what's the MOST seamless route for Windows!?  It seems like w/e I do there's problems with volume, echo, sensitivity, or noise.

Please help!

If I understand correctly? you are using 2 or more mics same time?
Try removing all... Then Reboot and try adding them 1 by 1...
My opinion: 3.5mm is most reliable.

I have 1 mic on my headset (3.5mm) and it work ok!

I don't understand why u want to use more same time?

Only using one mic, but had trouble getting them to work with discord.  None of the mic inputs, USB, front panel i/o, back panel i/o would detect my mic.

Go to bottom right icon on windows and right click on it, go to audio settings and test your microphone, also, be sure to let discord use your mic in permissions

This actually helped.  Testing the mic didn't work but I had to enable it in windows?  At first I clicked on 'listen to this device' and it worked but I was getting a ton of feedback.  Not sure what I did but it seems to be working now.

Thanks!
