retire prior DQ thread

1. thread author inactive seemingly 11 months now
2. poorly formatted
3. almost never interactive, no community energy, a plain-old list

let mine do it instead. the one im running now is fine. maybe a new one in the future so i\others can reserve the first few replies for flexibility
