Days Gone PC version needs SSD, here are all requirements

After yesterday's out of nowhere announcement that video game Days Gone is arriving to PC platform we have received also hardware requirements for it, packed together with some specific details about PC version.

Yesterday we were greeted by the news that all up till now Sony exclusive Days Gone will arrive to the PC platform. This information was announced just like that, only followed that PC version of the game will appear this spring. But now we know a little more details about Days Gone for PC.

As expected, the PC version of the game will have better graphics than in version for PlayStation 4/5. It will be noticed with increased amount details, especially on far objects which will in PC version load much earlier than on consoles. Of the other specifics that can be find in the PC version is that it will have support for ultra wide displays and unlocked perfomance in 60+ fps. 

Days Gone PC version will arrive with all the content just like on consoles, and that also includes modes that the game has received after release, like New Game Plus mode, Survival and Challenge mode and additional bike skins. 

Software / hardware requirements for the PC version have also been released, which are reasonable considering it's a title that uses Unreal Engine and is two years old. Still, one of the requirements is interesting, if not a bit confusing. It is stated that an SSD is recommended for the game, although nowhere is it indicated that the HDD is not supported. In any case, the game will take up about 70 gigabytes of disk space.

  • RAM: 16 GB
  • SSD: 70 GB
  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit

I guess SSD must be on standart req's everywhere for current time :D
