ETS2 brings the Renault T High Evolution to the game!
Today, the 6th of April 2021, we got a revamped version of the Renault T in Euro Truck Simulator 2. This model is called the Renault T High Evolution 2021.
This brand new version of the Renault T got announced a couple of days ago. In-game players were already able to spot a veiled version of the truck at some of the Renault truck dealers.
During those couples of days, a little hype was born on social media, under the hashtag #RenaultTrucksEvolution. The company Renault Trucks even launched a contest for this event. Random lucky winners got picked by an innocent hand and won a nice package of Renault goodies.
With the release today, a new contest rose up. This time, Renault is searching for the biggest artists in the ETS2 community. To enter this contest, people need to create a unique paint job for this Renault T High Evolution. That can be done as a modder by creating a usable paint job or even just painted or drawn on a white version of the truck.
At the end of the contest, 5 winners are going to get picked. Each of those winners will receive a Thrustmaster T150 steering wheel. From that point, people will be able to vote and the paint job that gets the most votes will see its design as an exclusive paint job in the game and in real life as well!
The winning design will actually be recreated by the team at Renault Trucks on one of their production trucks and revealed in a special event around Summer 2021 at Renault Trucks headquarters in Lyon, France. The creator of this design will get an expenses-paid VIP invitation to this special celebration, to be the star of the night, to see the truck, to test-drive it, and to enjoy a good time with people from SCS Software and Renault Trucks.

The Renault T High Evolution really looks good. The first and far most noticeable change is the look of the headlights. Those look really mean. It just looks terrific. The inside of the cabin got a complete overhaul as well and looks stunning. Those thin red lines are giving the dash a sportive look and being able to put a phone or tablet in the stand as GPS, is really awesome!
Let's hit the roads! Starting from Thursday the 8th of April, players can even drive to Spanish and Portuguese cities and companies.
