Im just waiting on the Samsung 960 Pro release and will be throwing a 512GB in as my Boot drive and putting my current Crucial BX100 1TB drive in which has games and work files etc on.
That should work nicely with my Acer XR341CK but i will need some more GPU power to max out anything AAA. my poor 765M in my M14 just gets CS:GO to constantly be over 100fps with everything on low haha.
One questions, ive seen everywhere posted that the std 1080p monitor on these (aka the one i ordered) comes with Gsync and 120hz.
Can anyone confirm this because there was no option for it. Only 1080p or 4k. Maybe a 17" only option?

Just out of curiostiy since I'm looking for new pc how much for this spec that you ordered ?
What do you think the starting price of the "alienware 17 with 1080" will be?
$ 3.000,00 - $ 3.500,00 ?
I'm undecided whether to buy now or when the Alienware 17 with 1080 will be available... :D
If you are looking at having $3000 - $3500 USD to spend then a 17" GTX 1080 should be in your price range.
If you are wanting a 17" laptop
If those are both yes, then definitely wait 100%.
Mine is only going to be here early November so there is really no point in ordering now. You can order in november when they release and prob wont get yours much later than you would have ordering now as i think a portion of this months builds are just for stock. I dont think there was much pre-release stock buildup at all. I mean heck, we are yet to see any reviews on the things. Is Alienware's new cooling solution that good. Im hoping so. I hoping it blows away the competition :)
