So even with the discount from Dell Reward points, on their website, I can get like 30-40% discount depending on what I buy, random people will rush for a "good deal" but in fact you can find the same kind of product for 40 to 50% cheaper as base price on other website or generic brands (for example a m.2 ssd at 130€ wich can be found for 60€ on any online shop) So this is totally waste of time and energy to get those and again minimum basket should be 100€ so you can't get small stuff -> big trap

Dell doesn't offer price matching for other regions? Each time I just price match it to Amazon and wait for them to send me the quote.

Yes, products from "generic brands" have lower prices than from name brands. Do they also have the same performance, quality, warranty, and customer service?

@Fruit Punch Samurai with my example there are good brands who do it 40% cheaper so yes I guess

@jsmith1976 How do you request price match. Because they've given me a little run around. Last time using the excuse that the product was "low stock."
08.29.2024 09:43:48 - Tabbou -
@jsmith1976 not in my example since they looks 50% more expensive than average products

@bmurray75 question would also be price matching wich brand or wich product ? you mean the same brand ? I really doubt they would lower price "just for you" because you saw something cheaper outside their own store

@Tabbou What? Of course it was the exact same product and cheaper at stores on their approved list. It was DDR4 memory, since the difference was <$10, I still went w/ dell to use rewards points.

@Tabbou But to use "low stock" to not price match, just deceitful.

On the Dell website: A Dell monitor (G2724D) for €255 (on sale). And I had enough DRP to get an additional €150 discount. So that gives me a monitor from a good brand, with an IPS panel, for €105...
