As some of you didn't know, Sony has decided there won't be physical copies of video games to secure better profit and avoid more e-waste by early 2028. Additionally, they're finally shutting the PS3 and Vita stores down and the news has shocked the entire community. I've been using digital and physical media but decided to draw the line with the PS5 being my next and last PSN console. It'll be out of convenience for my massive library and because the PS6 won't apply to me. 4K physical media still exists!

I've been a PC gamer for a long time but got a PS5 in preparation of GTA 6 and bought a few PS5 games to try out with the intention of selling them after I beat them. Taking away the ability to sell/trade games is a really dumb move by Sony

Sony's move was brilliant 🤢. Because with no physical copies, you eliminate the resale market in one fell swoop, they'll no longer need to offer big discounts to win over those consumers who are reluctant to spend $80 on each game.
