Looks Like It's No Longer Possible to Convert Some DRP into Dell Dollars? I logged in today because I had 3100 DRP that was expiring that I needed to convert into Dell Dollars so they could last longer, but I could no longer find the Convert button that used to be there. Instead the new button says, "Shop and Redeem." It looks like the new way involves adding something to your cart and going all the way to Checkout and select something like "Use Rewards," which unfortunately immediately converts all to DD.

I contacted two support reps that both mention this new approach and both completely avoid any mention of the old way it used to work.

Thanks @Fruit Punch Samauri. I read the entire thread. TLDR: The new process for converting just the expiring DRP to DD: 1) Add something to your cart that is just over the expiring DRP 2) Head to checkout page 3) Hit use Dell Dollars

@barskpeter well at least that explains why i never see the "use rewards" button when trying to use my 90 euros expiring today to get headphones. Mofos...

@barskpeter and it gets worse because it looks like even if you have the points to cover the purchase, they only let you apply points to cover the portion of the price over 100 euros.

@barskpeter I am trying to buy a gaming mouse for 130 euros. I have the points expiring today to cover it but it only lets me apply 30 euros in coupons so there is now a 100 euros franchise to use DRP, which basically renders them pointless

@reptile18 Seems to work. Hopefully they won't also change that and take the points away when they noticed everyone saving their points that way

Also, points now convert to the cent of what you need, not rounded to nearest $10. It looks weird having points that don't end in 00. On the plus side i had a $1 DRP thing unclaimed since forever that now i can use without it just expiring.
