I really feel cheated.

What was promised:

1. Create or log in to your Alienware Arena account.
2. Click the “GET KEY” button.

What was true:

Create your Alienware Arena Account
Give us your data!
Don't show the "GET KEY" Button
Make you figure out: Don't get a key until you provide us with free content for our forums!

If you tell us to "create an account" and then require a level 2 on the key, its cheating! I would not have created an account (and provided Alienware with my data) if I had known about this nonsense.

Yeah, why should they give you something for free if you don't want to to contribute to the comminuty?

I don't think AWA will have any use of your personal info. They are not FBI. I remember in 2013 they used to give codes to anyone who logged in, but codes were limited as always. I think they implemented this system so only dedicated users can get codes. Back in the days people would create bunch of accounts and get codes, then selling them or trading them in.

I don't think people now would create 10 different accounts and boosting them to LVL2 just to get giveaway code.

I think you can get invite code with LVL1, but invite codes are unlimited. 3 days of premium is something bigger and better and its probably limited.
